Unlike manual masking in Photoshop or Affinity — which can take 15–30 minutes per image on tricky subjects — the AI produces a pixel-accurate mask in under 15 seconds. The model has been trained on millions of images covering every kind of subject: people, animals, products, vehicles, plants, and abstract shapes.
The hardest part of background removal is hair, fur, and translucent edges. Traditional approaches like chroma key (green-screen) require controlled studio lighting, and magic-wand tools leave harsh, obviously-cut-out edges.
