No. You get 3 free credits without signing up. Create an account only if you want to buy more credits or track your restoration history.
We support JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 10MB. For best results with old photos, scan at 300+ DPI.
No. Photos are processed in memory and returned directly to your browser. We never store, share, or access your images. Signed-in users can optionally save results to their history.

Our AI (DDColor) analyzes textures, lighting, and context to apply historically accurate colors to black & white and sepia photos. Colors are based on millions of training images.
Up to 4x the original resolution using Real-ESRGAN. A 500x500 photo becomes 2000x2000 with enhanced detail.
Restore damage first, then fix faces, then colorize (if B&W), then upscale as the last step. Each step builds on the previous one.

Privacy & Security
Yes. All transfers are encrypted with 256-bit TLS. Photos are processed in memory and never stored on our servers. We don't train AI on your images.
Yes. Go to Dashboard → Settings to download all your data or permanently delete your account. All data is removed within 30 days.
Never. Your photos are processed and immediately discarded. We don't use customer images for training, sharing, or any other purpose.
